Late afternoon I stopped at swan river preserve and observed 10 green teal ducks in the southern pond along with a good number of mallards
A stop at bellport yacht club only yielded some small bufflehead flocks. At carmans river (end of beaver dam road) there were 2 harriers hunting over the marshes as well as a feeding pied-billed grebe.
