Excited by today's earlier posts, and aided by an 1 & 1/2 hour break between setting tables up and serving dinner at a Riverhead Soup Kitchen, I bolted down to the Tiana Beach Area along Dune Rd., Hampton Bays in pursuit of a pelagic or two ! While striking out on that hunt, I did have a single, 3rd winter, Lesser Black-backed Gull in the Tiana Beach Parking Lot, and an adult, Peregrine Falcon feeding on a small bird, while atop a pole less than 1/4 mile e/o that same parking lot.
