Bob Ruvolo, Gerry McGee, Paul Citrin, Will Papp and I meandered all around the 
park, beginning at Strawberry Fields this morning until 1:30 or so, seeing 38 
species. 

The “best” bird was spotted by Bob Ruvolo and seen by all of us, in the 
Maintenance Meadow, a  White-eyed Vireo.

Rusty Blackbird (2)

Northern Shovelers  (6)
Pine Warbler

Northern Rough-winged Swallow
Great Egret (flyover)

Eastern Phoebe (6)
Norther Flicker (several)
Gray Catbird
Black-capped Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse (fe)
White-breasted Nuthatch
Brown Thrasher 
Dark-eyed Junco (2)
Double-crested Cormorant (flyover)
American Goldfinch

and lots of the usual residents.
