The number of Stilt Sandpipers increased to five this morning at the Timber Pt. Golf Course Marina in Great River. The marina, located on the east side of the golf course on the Connetquot River, also held Greater Yellowlegs, Short-billed Dowitcher, Eastern Willet, and Least Sandpiper. The birds were scattered in the salt marsh pools that lie just north of the marina.
