City Island Birds had its second migration walk today and a dozen of us reveled in the glorious weather and scenery. It was generally slow but we had some close and multiple looks at Oystercatchers, an eye level and very close male Rose-breasted Grosbeak. Yellow Warblers were all around, singing brightly. Warbling Vireos were also plentiful and visible. Two Killdeer were sitting on eggs.
