City Island Birds had its second migration walk today and a dozen of us reveled 
in the glorious weather and scenery. It was generally slow but we had some 
close and multiple looks at Oystercatchers, an eye level and very close male 
Rose-breasted Grosbeak. Yellow Warblers were all around, singing brightly. 
Warbling Vireos were also plentiful and visible.  Two Killdeer were sitting on 
eggs.

was too difficult to be sure.)

Yellow-rumped warblers (several)
Red-tailed Hawk
Warbling Vireo (5-6)
Black and White warbler
Spotted Sandpiper
Song Sparrow
Eastern Phoebe
Red-belied Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
Mourning Dove
Blue Jay
Brown-headed Cowbird
White-breasted Nuthatch
Gray Catbird
House Sparrow
European Starling
