There are two *AMERICAN AVOCETS* (male and female), currently sleeping on the north end of the East Pond past Gull's point on the west side of the pond. This is an area south of "Dead Man's or Mud Cove."
They could move around once awake, so check carefully others areas if you try for them. See a map here if you are not familiar with the naming conventions of the east pond. http://birdingdude.blogspot.com/2013/07/jamaica-bay-shorebird-report-7-11-13.html?m=1 . 風 Swift as the wind 林 Quiet as the forest 火 Conquer like the fire 山 Steady as the mountain Sun Tzu <http://refspace.com/quotes/Sun_Tzu> *The Art of War* <http://refspace.com/quotes/The_Art_of_War> (\__/) (= '.'=) (") _ (") Sent from somewhere in the field using my mobile device!
