Hurricane Arthur brought in exactly one storm bird this morning: a Great Blue
Heron that landed briefly on the beach before heading north toward the marshes.

A Roseate Tern has been seen loafing in front of the tern colony the last two
days, and a pair of Gull-billed Terns were hawking above the colony yesterday.
Beside a few late scoters, a female Red-breasted Merganser, and a female
Long-tailed Duck that have been around occasionally, there has not been much
else of note.
