I spent ~ 1 & 1/2 hours today covering the Riverhead farm fields between Roanoke Ave & Penny's La., from Sound Ave to Northville Tpke, without even finding a single Canada flock. To avoid being shutout, I stopped at Merritt's Pond on the way home and found a sizable flock of Canadas, along with 7 Snow Geese, including 2 Blues, 1 adult & 1 juvenile.
