To follow up Peter Dorosh's previous posting, the Sora was still present at the
South edge of the Peninsula when I left at 5:30pm. The bird was well seen by
several people. If one sits patiently (and quietly) at the opening at the edge
of the phragmites it seems to be very cooperative. With generally South winds
forecast for tonight, there is a reasonable chance that the bird will still be
present in the morning. Here is today's location:

Enter Prospect Park at the Vanderbilt Avenue entrance and walk straight in
towards Prospect Lake. Wellhouse Drive begins at the corner of the lake and
West Drive. Follow Wellhouse Drive, with the lake edge on your right, for about
275 yards. You'll see the brick Wellhouse on the left side of the road and a
dirt path directly across from it which leads out onto the Peninsula. Take that
dirt path for about 50 yards. There is a large arrow drawn in the dirt pointing
to the patch of phragmites where the Sora was foraging. There is also a piece
of yellow caution tape tied to a tree branch in the same spot.

I also have a Google map of Prospect Park here:
