Encouraged by the wind direction Monday night/ Tuesday morning, and the Turkey Vulture seen through my bathroom skylight at 0730 Tuesday morning, I ventured down to the hawk-watch at Robert Moses State Park, on a brisk, but beautiful day ! Arriving late morning, while walking along the boardwalk to the viewing platform, I had a small pocket of ~ 7 birds, among them single Indigo Bunting & Lincoln Sparrow, both FOS for me. The hawk-watch itself, was fairly quiet.
