Red-necked Stint and 2-3 Arctic Terns present on the flats in the early afternoon (sorry, didnt have phone or watch on me). Lots of birders. A few let me see through their scopes. Many thanks.
Also at least 5 Black Terns, 3 Royal Terns and numbers of Roseates. The Roseates, and only them, were all flying very erratically. The wind wasnt terrible and all the other terns seemed fine. Someone said maybe they were catching insects. Everyone was still waiting for the Elegant to show when I left after not much time.
