At 5:30 am this morning, an American White Pelican was seen close to shore flying past the Dobbs Ferry waterfront park, headed south towards Manhattan. I tried other parks along the Hudson south to Yonkers, but didn't see the bird again. Presumably the same bird seen at Piermont (directly across from Dobbs Ferry) yesterday. Gail Benson
