A pair of Blue Grosbeaks were working the fields near the south east corner
of Mount Loretto. If you park in the lot, take the first path on your
right and navigate over to the asphalt path on the other side, make a left
once you are on the asphalt path marked with interpretive signs. Look for
one marked "Ladybugs". The male was singing in the area and being very
active, with the female flying around as well. I digiscoped the female
with nesting material in her bill, so with luck they might nest. Howie
Fischer tells me if they nest, it would only be the second SI record??

If this message comes through twice, please accept my apologies. For
whatever reason, posting from the field today has not been smooth.

Sent from somewhere in the field using my mobile device.
