I don't think this ever made it to the internet birding lists.  Nick Ziemba
sent out a text alert the other day that one of the two ibises that have
been frequenting the Berry Road marsh in the Town of Pomfret, Chautauqua
County, was an adult WHITE-FACED IBIS.  We looked yesterday but only saw the
adult GLOSSY IBIS.  These birds disappear and reappear so there is a good
chance it is still around.

 

DIRECTIONS:

Berry Road is an east-west road that runs between Chestnut Road in Fredonia
and Rt 5 (Rt 5 runs along Lake Erie).  The marsh is on the north side of the
road, just west of two sets of railroad tracks.
