I just watched a pair of MERLINS copulate in a tree across the street from my
house. Twice. The female is still there at this moment, while the male flew
off after the second copulation. There are plenty of large White Pines in my
yard and in the patch of woods across the street, so I am hoping that they
settle in to nest in this area. This would be a great neighborhood to raise a
family.
