Please forgive this non-Spring-birding posting, but I think that the New York birding community would want to know about the following injustice:
I'm sure most of you are familiar with the great work that Bobby and Cathy Horvath do rescuing birds and other animals around New York. Their non-profit organization, Wildlife in Need of Rescue and Rehabilitation (WINORR) is now under attack by an unscrupulous town supervisor. They have only until next Tuesday (April 16th) to find a new place for the "dangerous" animals that they care for.
