The Barnacle Goose found yesterday by Orlando Hidalgo on Larchmont Reservoir
(Sheldrake Lake) was seen at 9:30 AM today from the dam (between the pond and
the lake. This is most likely the same bird that disappeared from nearby Van
Cortlandt Park in January. Directions to Larchmont Reservoir can be found at
Hudson River Audubon’s “Where to bird in Westchester County” web site at
http://www.hras.org/wtobird/larchmon.html

The Barnacle Goose would be Westchester County’s first record.
