Common redpolls continue at a friend's bird feeder in Stephentown, Rensselaer County, NY. Two or three birds showed up a week or so ago and have increased in number since then. Normally, the redpolls leave after their morning visit, but during today's snowstorm, we counted at least 42 that remained the entire day. Redpolls are the most abundant birds at the feeder here lately.
