The TUFTED DUCK swam out from the docks where it has been spending recent nights around 7AM this morning. I first viewed the bird through the chain link fence at the north end of the town parking area. The bird remained in good view in the harbor for approximately 20 minutes before disappearing behind a docked boat.

Later, back in Queens, I stopped at Kissena Corridor and was able to find both the previously reported INDIGO BUNTING and ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER.
