Date: Dec. 8, 2012 Location: East End Long Island My wife Betsy and I had a Snowy Owl on Hick's Island Napeague visible from the boat launch at Napeague. Also present was a Lesser Black-backed Gull (Larry). At nearby Hither Hills State Park was a mixed flock of 30 Red and White-winged Crossbills. At Montauk Point, Camp Hero, we had 9 close in Razorbills. We also noticed the almost complete lack of Scoters. Good Birding, Joe Giunta --
