Below is a link to some of the shots I got of the Queens Painted Bunting this morning. I haven't seen this mentioned yet so I thought I would point out that those of us who were there early got no payoff for our diligence. The bird did not stir until the sun hit the edge that it has been seen along (right around or shortly after 8 AM).

It is intended as a supplement to the Duck Stamp with the funds raised targeted towards non-game conservation and habitat acquisition.
