We realized after heading back home that viewing the NELSON'S SPARROWS was
easiest closer to high tide when the birds were perched much higher and
stayed there for longer periods. On the map I've added an icon for the
North Brother Island, East River tides which is just east of the site and
nearly an hour and a quarter later than high tide on the Harlem River on
the west side of the island. The tide icons are the blue anchors in the
rivers:

The tides from high to low at North Brother Island is over 9 feet. I have a
feeling the swing at the saltmarsh is not so high it but was noticeable.

Good luck if you go.
