Our NYC Audubon Wednesday morning birding group had a very good day in Central Park. We saw 55 species including 11 warblers species (Parula, Magnolia, Black-throated Blue, Yellow-rumped, Pine, Palm, Blackpoll, Black-and-white, Redstart, Ovenbird and Common Yellowthroat). The Parula was the most common with about 15 individuals seen. We also saw 4 woodpecker species (inc. Sapsuckers), 3 Flycatchers (inc. Great Crested) 2 Vireos (inc. White-eyed). Other highlights were Scarlet Tanagers, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks and an Indigo Bunting. Good Birding, Joe Giunta --
