Making "shorebird withdrawal" a tad easier to deal with. 1 basic plumage *Long-billed Dowitcher* along with *5 Stilt Sandpipers* (3 juveniles and 2 basic plumage) were some of the notables in 11 species of shorebirds on the East Pond at Jamaica Bay. The *American White Pelican* continues as well, seen loafing with the building duckage on the North End of the East Pond.
