Yesterday (Friday around 2-3pm) I spent a few minutes at Swindler Cove
Park's Sherman Creek and spotted a male Mourning Warbler along the wood
chip path near the overlook. It has a complete gray hood with black patches
at the lower portion of the hood. The area of the throat and chin were
light in color, whitish to buffy and it had distinct eye-arcs. I did not
notice the loral or supraloral regions.

I haven't found a plumage for adult male oporornis with a light chin and
throat. It isn't spoken of in Peterson's Warblers nor found in an online
search. Is this a known variation? Thanks.
