Malvern High School 29 August Joe Giunta, Debbie Martin and I (Sy Schiff) met at the Malvern High School Parking Lot in the late afternoon. It faces NE and opens onto a very large playing field. At 6:31 PM, three COMMON NIGHTHAWKS came from the north flying high along a line of trees to the east. Two minutes later a fourth bird came by. This bird circled, closer by, showing its wing surfaces before disappearing to the South. This species is getting harder to find in migration these days.
