This afternoon, the barred owl was seen perching on a tree for almost one hour in this location (40° 46' 28.189" N -73° 58' 10.621" W) about 200 yards south of the Boat House.
It moved to a new location near by (40° 46' 27.874" N -73° 58' 6.276" W) across the East Drive and it was there around 4:30-5:00PM. I have a picture of the owl while it was perching on the first location. http://www.pbase.com/fpimentel/image/140562945 Good luck tomorrow if you go and try to locate the Barred Owl.
