While the odds of *two* breeding-plumaged Yellow-billed Loons on Lake
Ontario must be tremendously small, it should be noted that Broadway Road
is about 60 miles east of Hamlin Beach, where Chris Wood & Jessie Barry had
one on October 16, last seen flying west. In any case, following today's
sighting, whether the same or a second bird, loon gathering spots on the
south shore of Lake Ontario should be carefully checked in hopes of finding
the bird on the water.
