Late this afternoon Dick Belanger and I observed a breeding plumaged Red Necked Stint feeding with a small group of Dowitchers along the bay front some 25 yards east of the small tidal pond. This pond is to the west of the parking lot near the sand path down to the bay. The bird took flight several times and returned for nice scope views before heading across to the long sandbar just inside the inlet. We also saw the Black Tern and one Royal. Short Billed Dowitchers were numerous and we had a dozen Red Knots. Good luck to all who go, Carl Starace
