Michael McBrein, Bob Wilson, Bob Adamo, and myself spent a few hours (11:00-2:00) out on the flats at Cupsoque today (7/13) We started out to the flats by 4x4 road and found the Glaucous Gull sitting on a sand bar out towards the inlet. Then we proceeded to the mudflats many Short-billed Dowitchers and Willets were around. No Godwit. We did have 4 Black Terns, 3 Roseate Terns, and many Common Terns. Other birds of interest 4 Red Knots, 1 Semiplover, 1 calling Seaside Sp. Nothing over the ocean. Tonight's winds might bring in some new stuff tomorrow, we can only hope. Jim Clinton Jr.
