Correction. The model airplane road is off limits and you can not go there. Park police will issue tickets to anyone that is on that road. you also can not go down the path from the ranger station. So the only way to see the bird is to look for it from the main road. Again, you will be ticketed by police if you look for the bird from the model airplane area. Sorry for any wrong information.

As seen from the model airplane road you have to look towards the ranger station and the bird has been in the corner of the pond closest to the main road and the ranger station.
