After a good 30-45 minutes of searching, I found the Central Park RED-HEADED WOODPECKER in the first tree on the edge of the Sheep Meadow where the walkway leading north from the carousel (that takes one over the overpass) intersects with the east-west walkway leading to 65th St. (specifically, the tree was on the north side of the Sheep Meadow fence). To echo Tom Fiore's recent comments, the bird looked markedly grayer than in December. Today, it was feeding but not moving very much and I didn't see it fly. When I saw it in December, it was far more active--flying, caching food and it called at least once.
