Hi All,       During yesterday's Orient Count Rob McGinness and John Brush
Sr. had a Townsend's Solitaire in a field off of Albertson Lane in
Greenport. The bird was feeding on bittersweet along with a Catbird and a
flock of eleven Rusty Blackbirds. The bird has not been seen today. The
field has a posted For Sale sign on it and is not far to the north of Route
25.The Solitaire was seen in the Southwest corner of field. Some other birds
seen on the Orient Count were 9 Great Cormorants, 1 Great Egret, a Rednecked
Grebe, a Glaucous Gull, 1 Barrows Goldeneye , 1 Tree Sparrow,[ Plum Island],
a Yellowbreasted Chat,[ Shelter Island] a Razorbill and 3 Purple Sandpiper.
