Big fallout from last night's storm Where: Walk along West Harbor Rd, Bayville, NY Dozens of ruby & golden crowned kinglets!! in the shrubs next to driveway of Mill River Rod & Gun Club I was sitting with literally a dozen within arms reach and more in the shrubbery along the fence. Red breasted nuthatches 4-5 that I saw, probably loads more (I hear some now in the pine tree outside my window.) Palm Warblers - at least a dozen, mostly (from my quick walk), along the edge of the baseball field, flitting from the ground to the fences & back. Great Blue Heron staking out the osprey platform Plus the usual suspects, Song & White throated sparrows, Mourning doves, blue jays & mockingbirds.
