With the continuing bad weather, most the bird action seems to be on, or near,
the ocean. At RMSP Field 2 a one hour sea watch yielded three Cory's
Shearwaters, five unidentified Shearwaters, three Royal Terns, and my FOS
Bonaparte's Gull. At RMSP Field 5 a Parasitic Jaeger was on the ocean harassing
passing Terns. At West End 2 there were numerous Black-bellied Plovers (no
Golden's observed) on the bar in the marina, as well as Red Knot (16) and
Short-billed Dowitcher (2). In the swale south of the WE2 parking lot there
were fifty-five White-rumped Sandpipers, a number I have not observed in many
years.

On Monday at RMSP there were two Lesser Black-backed Gulls, one each in the
Field 2 and 5 parking lots.
