BLACK VULTURE: Catskill 3/5 (3); Mechanicville 3/6 (2); New Baltimore
Thruway rest stop 3/10 (10).
NORTHERN GOSHAWK: Ramshorn/Livingston Sanctuary 3/5.
SHORT-EARED OWL: Saratoga Battlefield 3/5 (9), 3/6 (5).
MARSH WREN: Vischer Ferry 3/9.
RED CROSSBILL: Burnt-Rossman Hills SF 3/8 (2).
Most-reported species included Red-Winged Blackbird (8 reports), Fish
Crow (8), Common Grackle (7), Eastern Bluebird (7), Common Merganser
(7), Bald Eagle (7), and Red-tailed Hawk (6) including a pair nesting
near Western Gateway Bridge for the 16th consecutive year.

Gadwall: Collins Lake 3/10.
American Wigeon: Collins Lake 3/10 (6); Ferry Drive 3/10.
Northern Pintail: Collins Lake 3/9, 3/10 (4); Ferry Drive 3/10.
Greater Scaup: Fort Miller 3/4 (2).
Ruffed Grouse: Ferry Drive 3/10.
Turkey Vulture: Ravena 3/4 (4); East Greenbush 3/8.
Rough-legged Hawk: Florida 3/6.
Peregrine Falcon: Green Island 3/4; Cohoes Falls 3/5.
Killdeer: Meadowdale 3/6; Livingston 3/7; Kinderhook 3/9; Burnt Hills 3/9.
American Woodcock: Livingston 3/6.
Northern Flicker: Niskayuna 3/2; Easton 3/4.
Eastern Phoebe: Stillwater 3/6.
Brown Creeper: Burnt Hills 3/9.
Carolina Wren: Peebles Island 3/9; Collins Lake 3/9.
Cedar Waxwing: Ghent 3/9.
White-crowned Sparrow: Niskayuna 3/9 (2).
