Hello All, What really made this sunny morning so special was that the wind
was but a whisper.A seemingly rare occurrence this winter.Dick Belanger and I
walked east from the parking lot and found a Rednecked Grebe in the surf just
past the end of the trailer park where there's a break in the duneline. There
were several Horned Grebes about ,along with 2 Common and 15 Redthroated
Loons. On the bay side the large raft of Brant,[300+],continues.A Redtailed Hawk
soared above the treeline at the William Floyd Estate and Bufflehead,Black
Duck, Common Goldeneye and Redbreasted Merganser were seen out towards
Pattersquash Island.The" Burma Road"birds were- 8 Yellowrumped Warbler,10 Slate
colored Junco, and a single Ipswich Savannah Sparrow.Good March Birding,
