Today I went with my wife to Sandy Hook (NJ) to do some birding. We saw about 8 Great Cormorants together on the west side of Spermaceti Cove. You can see the Great Cormorants from the beach (near the road, between the first and the second parking lot). A good scope is a plus since the Cormorants were (are) on the other side, closer to the bay. They were standing on the beach near a relatively large group of seals. --
