Dear NWRUggers,

I wonder if anyone on the list could help me, I figured posting here since
we have a handful of freelancers and small businesses.

My brother opened a small cafe on the market in Burnley and after three
months it's winding up. I've helped him as best I can with book keeping/etc
(and it's straight, every tx is accounted for, on paper)

But corporation tax and etc are due by the end of this month and no
accountants we found will take us on for a reasonable price (we've been
quoted 250+VAT) - the market café has turned over 2k in 35 transactions
having been open for 50~ days, so I think that price is extortionate (and,
anyway, he can't afford it)

Anyone got ideas how to proceed getting a final accounts done?

Ahoy!
