Just a quick note to say the company I am contracting for is looking to add to the team with another Ruby Dev. The job is remote working with the occasional day in the Manchester office, near Piccadilly station. It will be a long term contract (around 6 months) and the work is very interesting and technically challenging (Can ask me more about it if you are interested). We are looking for an experienced Ruby/Rails Developer with: - BDD (Rspec) experience - Strong Ruby skills (we use Rails but there is also a lot of non-rails library code and gems) Bonus points for (but not required): - Travel industry experience, specifically airline terminology - Experience building and consuming APIs (SOAP, XML & JSON) - Docker and AWS deployments - JS (Angular.js or similar framework) - Scaling experience.
