Core skills for this role include: - Ruby on Rails - Ruby 1.8.7/1.9.3/2.x - Rails 3.1.x/4.x - CSS/Sass - HTML/Slim - JavaScript/CoffeeScript - JS Libraries; such as jQuery - MySQL; including database design and architecture - Source control; Git/SVN Bonus skills: - Experience with responsive applications - Experience with jQuery Mobile - Ability to fiddle in Photoshop (nothing too strenuous) - Sys Admin - Experience with multi stage environments *What would I be doing?* Primarily, working on one commercial site and providing support for this FTSE 250 company, as part of a wider team. Along with other team members you’ll be working in an agile way to meet and exceed client expectations; liaising with the design and creative team to help scope and implement solutions; and working with external technical teams to complete complex integration tasks.
