Hi guys Sorry for the X post if you're on the geekup list.
Just a reminder about our workshop on 5th March. It's a day long hands on introduction to using lean thinking. We look at why you need constancy of purpose, communication within teams, how Kanban and visualisation works with practical exercises. It's in Liverpool and the early bird tickets are £95 - see http://lean-teams.co.uk for more info. It'll be a fun day. All of the participants from the one we did back in December said they learned a lot and took the ideas back. At least one has completely changed the way they work. The early bird tickets will be withdrawn next week so if you want to book on get them before they're all gone. -- Thanks and Regards, Francis 07764 225 942 "So when targets seem stupid, arbitrary and unfair it's because they *are*. The only way to improve is to look at the whole system people are operating with, the basic tools, their training, how much initiative they are allowed, are you measuring the right things (more about that later) and then you can improve. But it's the *system* you improve, not the people you beat into performing even worse."
