Hi all,

This month's Lambda Lounge will be meeting at the usual time and place (7pm
at Madlab) this Monday (21st October).

This month Ian Murray will be building on last month's introductory Scala
talk where we learnt about the language's functional programming features
(first-class functions, ADTs, currying, ...), we'll take a practical look
at building real-world applications in Scala.

It will be a high-level tour of common tools, language features, APIs and
frameworks. Including SBT, Spray, Akka, Play!, the Cake Pattern and Slick.

Details can be found on our website as usual:

Please spread the word!

Hope to see you there!
