Ahoy,

Engine Yard are looking for a new Application Support Engineer in the EU
region:

https://www.engineyard.com/company/careers/open-positions

Engine Yard is an awesome company to work for and the EU Support team (all
of whom are from the UK) are a great bunch to work with (I'm modestly
including myself).

Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in the following areas:

- Building, deploying and scaling ruby applications
- Sysadmin skills
- Automating environment setup using Chef
- Dealing with customers

The job comes with the following perks:

- A competitive salary
- Two conferences per year - Last year, I went to RubyConf and forgot about
the second :)
- Two sabbatical weeks per year - essentially two weeks where you can work
on a vaguely work related project of your own choosing and get paid for it.
- Two training courses per year
- A full Support team meet-up in the US. This year we went to Lake Tahoe
for a week.
- A regional Support team meet-up (most likely at the Dublin office, with
out Irish brethren

If you think this may be a job for you, then email me at
[email protected], and send me your GitHub profile (so I don't have to
dig it up) and your CV.

Cheers,

Jim
