Hey NWRUG, thanks again for a fun night at last month's meeting. Suffice to say I did not make the early train the next morning.
There's an event coming up that might interest you. Rachel Myers and Paul Wilson are organizing a RailsBridge <http://workshops.railsbridge.org/> workshop in conjunction with the Scottish Ruby Conference. Like Rails Girls, RailsBridge teaches women how to build Rails applications. The workshop<http://workshops.railsbridge.org/ai1ec_event/edinburgh-railsbridge-workshop/?instance_id=220> runs on Saturday May 11th in Edinburgh. A few more teachers are needed to share knowledge and enthusiasm with the students. There's also an install fest on Friday night to help students get their machines prepped. If you can only coach on Saturday, however, that's probably fine. If you're going to the conference and would like to help teach at RailsBridge, reach out to Rachel and Paul. It could be the most fun you have all weekend. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NWRUG" group.
