Hi all ShRUG August 2010 is (finally) confirmed. We have two things of interest:
* James Almond will be presenting Rails: Getting through "The Wall" * Koichi Sasada, creator of the YARV virtual machine for Ruby 1.9 is in town* So if you'd like to learn more about Rails beyond the CRUD honeymoon, and/or chat to one of the core Ruby guys, please come along. ShRUG 10 is Wed September 22nd. (We've moved temporarily from our usual second-Monday slot). We're at the new GIST Lab in Sheffield, which is part of the Workstation. Turn up at 6.30pm for a 7.00-9.00pm presentation. Followed by general pubbage activity as usual. Details and map available on the ShRUG site: http://shrug.org/meetings/shrug-10/ If you're going please sign up for a ticket here: http://shrug10.eventbrite.com/ You don't have to get a ticket, but we like to know who's planning to turn up to predict numbers. See you there!
