We are looking at using Rhodes to develop a number of apps. So far I
have installed it on Win32 to create 'hello worlds' and used their
online app development environment rhohub to create android targets.
My conclusions so far, off the top of my head are:

1) rhohub is a great fast start which shows you the structure rhomobile expects

2) getting local versions of android SDK running has been painful -
probably more so than you might experience right now because I just
happened to install the android SDK right at a point where the dir
layout had changed and parts of the supporting kit had not caught up.
This type of confusion is normal with early stage, fast paced changes
so I try not to let it colour my impressions too strongly.

3) rhohub with the emulator gets you into the build, test, refine
cycle really quickly though I have had problems with some css stuff
not being rendered in the emulator. Basic things like background
images don't appear for example.

4) we have some concerns about apple's reluctance with flash infecting
their view of rhodes apps. But against the background of march's
market stats showing UK android phones making up 20% of the delivered
units and with many pundits expecting it to overtake the iphone's
share this concern is reducing.

5) The simple MVC model is nice and easier for non rubyists/rails
folks to get their heads around than the more fulsome offerings rails.
Rhohub has been a great resource for this.

6) Not yet figured out how best to run unit tests on rhohub, or even
if this is possible. Anyone have any guidance on this?
