Hi Ashley,

Fingers crossed for the first meet! We visited the venue a couple of days ago and there's *plenty* of parking, projector is included (unlike plenty of others that want to charge £100 to hire a time), and it had just been used for a 300 person annual LUG event! I've since pursued those groups for promotion, because there must be reasonable overlap and a few Rubyists hidden away in there.

Thanks for the ShRUG->WMRUG link. I'll be sure to keep my eye out for people ShRUG+NWRUG's way in return.

Unable to find a group in our area, a few of us are starting one up, in the West Midlands, this month.

If you know of anyone in our area, please let them know.

The first event is this Wednesday in Wolverhampton. We've got about 10 interested so far, but more the merrier.

Hi Karl

I've added you to the bottom of http://shrug.org/ - was it you that just joined our list?

Don't know any developers in the area unfortunately, as I'm from Stoke.

Good luck with it! ShRUG has taken off really well, if you've got 10 people already you should do well.

Ashley
