I hate to repost this, but I still really need someone for this role! Please let me know if any of you can do this, or know someone looking for a few days of contract work!
If you reply, it'd help if you remove [NWRUG] from the subject or else you'll get filed away in my newsgroups folder. --------------------------------- I wanted to check with the group to see if anyone has some time for some contract work at the moment. Back in January I led a project to try and get an ecommerce website up and running using Spree[1] for the non-profit Just Coffee People[2] based in Leeds. They are a social enterprise who in their own words are "a not-for-profit business that employs and provides training and work experience for people with disabilities. This enables those people who have been excluded from the labout market to develop the skills, confidence and reference needed to find successful employment. " Unfortunately it took ages for them to get a merchant account set up and now, imminently about to have our first child I do not have time to finish this project off for them. There are only a few things left outstanding, fix up a few bugs, integrate with SagePay, finish shipping integration and make sure it all works (caveat here, I've not reviewed the code to check that is _all_ that needs doing, but that's just as I remember it). Just Coffee People are willing to pay to get this done (with a mind to the fact they are a not-for-profit). Anyone who is interested would really be helping out, and making themselves some money as well. Please get back to me if you are interested and we can talk about where they are and what needs to be done. I'd really appreciate if you could let anyone you know who you'd recommend as a good Rails developer about this project. Please note also that they sell some *lovely* tea and coffee, I particularly like the Tanzanian Tea and Organic Java coffee. Cheers, David [1] http://spreecommerce.com/ [2] http://www.justcoffeepeople.co.uk/SectionPage.php?section=01Home--
