Well, im impressed. I have 10 large datafile ( plus 4gb of data each) that I play about with, its the grace note list of artists, releases etc..
My old simple script was ruby, active record and mysql, to import 8 and a half million rows. This used to take around 24 minutes, and eat my processor and ram for fun. A simple script to import it into tokyo table, all of them in.......wait for it......... 48 seconds. I kid you not!
